This Cookie Policy explains how Ventir Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on ventir.app and any related Ventir services. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
We are Ventir Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13423472, with registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, web beacons, SDKs, tracking URLs, scripts, tags and fingerprinting techniques. In this policy, references to cookies include these similar technologies unless stated otherwise.
3. Current position
Ventir sets one cookie, and only when you are signed in: the cookie that keeps you signed in. We set no analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain consent before setting them.
Section 5 lists every cookie we set. It also lists one cookie you may find on this domain that we do not set, so that what you see in your browser matches what this policy says.
We may use strictly necessary storage or similar technologies where required to provide the site, protect security, remember privacy choices, prevent fraud, maintain sessions or deliver core functionality. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under PECR, but we still explain them transparently.

That is the only cookie Ventir sets. We do not set analytics, advertising, marketing or social-media cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
One similar technology, not a cookie: our home page stores a single entry called ventir.splash.seen in your browser’s session storage, so the opening animation plays once rather than every time you navigate back. It holds no personal data, is never sent to our servers, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.
A cookie on this domain that we do not set
You may find a cookie named _tccl_visitor stored against ventir.app. It is set by GoDaddy, our domain registrar, records an anonymous visitor identifier for statistical purposes, and lasts up to one year.
It is not set by this website. It comes from the holding page GoDaddy served on this domain before the site launched, and it can persist in a browser that visited during that period until it expires. Our servers send no such cookie today. You can remove it through your browser’s cookie settings at any time, and nothing on Ventir depends on it.
We mention it because you can see it, and a policy that told you it was not there would be wrong.
6. Future cookie and tracking use
If Ventir introduces analytics, advertising, marketing or other non-essential cookies, Ventir will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, obtain consent before setting those cookies.
7. Consent standard
Where consent is required, we will use a consent mechanism designed to be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. This means:
- No pre-ticked boxes for non-essential cookies.
- No non-essential cookies set before consent, unless a valid legal exception applies.
- Clear information about cookie purposes before consent is requested.
- Accept and reject options presented clearly, without misleading design or unnecessary friction.
- A way to change or withdraw preferences at any time that is as easy as giving consent.
- Retention of consent records where appropriate to demonstrate compliance.
8. Managing cookies
- Browser settings: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. This is currently the only control you need, because the only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in.
- Cookie banner or preference centre: there is not one today, because we set no non-essential cookies. If we introduce any, you will be able to accept, reject or change your choices before they are set.
- Device settings: mobile devices may provide controls for app tracking, advertising IDs or storage permissions.
- Privacy tools: privacy browsers, extensions or VPNs may block tracking technologies.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working properly.
9. Third-party technologies
Three third parties currently load content or run code on ventir.app:
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles on venue pages. Plain image requests.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the sign-in, sign-up and password-reset forms. The challenge runs in a frame served by Cloudflare and returns a one-time token that our server verifies with Cloudflare. It sets no cookie on ventir.app.
- Sentry — error monitoring, so we find out when something breaks.
None of them sets a cookie on ventir.app. We use no analytics providers, advertising providers or customer support tools. If a future third-party technology sets or accesses information on your device, we will classify it appropriately and obtain consent where required.
10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We will honour legally recognised consent-withdrawal or opt-out signals where required. In practice these signals change nothing today: the only cookie we set is strictly necessary, and we run no tracking to opt out of.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we add, remove or change cookies or when legal requirements change. Material changes will be notified through the Service where appropriate.
